authorization issue?

Hi, I just installed Latin Percussion. When I launched it, it did not ask for authorization. The kit played, but most of the grooves were a lot of cymbal crashes, no latin instruments at all. I uninstalled and reloaded the program, but the same thing happened. I have several other EZX packs and haven’t had any problems with them. Any suggestions?

Are you selecting the Latin Percussion EZX from the library dropdown menu in EZdrummer?

Thanks, Scott. That did it! Strange, I installed Vintage and Classic this past weekend, and both played without me having to do that. It had been a few months since my last install of an ezx and I had forgotten about that drop down window.

I checked your account and you don’t have any EZX libraries authorized to your account. I’m guessing you’ve been using the MIDI groove for the EZXs with the original Pop/Rock kit and haven’t loaded the kits from the library menu yet…otherwise you would have triggered the authorization window the first time you loaded them.

That’s exactly what has happened. I just ignored that step because everything seemed to be working ok. The cool thing is, I have all these great drum kits to explore now.
