Google used to be my friend, but I have not been able to locate a reliable answer to:
Is authorization on the mac specific to the CPU or OS / Harddrive. On my macpro I have several drives with different operating systems. e.g. on drive has osx 10.8.5, DigitalPerformer 8, another drive has osx 10.9.x and DP8. third drive has osx 10.6.8 and Pro Tools and yet another drive has osx 10.9.x with MixBus. I start on the drive appropriate to my project / environment I need.
What I’d like to know is right now I have EZdrummer authorized on one of the drive w DP8. However I’d like to used EZdrummer on sessions using one of the other “environments”. Is ONE authorization required for install on all these disks or will they count as “individual computers”?
It is tied to the motherboard. You will only need to use up
one authorization.
