Sorry I figured out the problem… I had to do the updates which I was unaware of.

If you are getting an authorization re-trigger, it is usually caused by 2 reasons. One, a change in the motherboard. Second, a change in the NIC. This also includes turning the NIC on/off. Even this simple change in the NIC will change how the hardware configuration is broadcast to Windows.

You can either authorize with the NIC in the state you intend to work (on or off) or authorize both ways but this will use 2 authorizations.

Could you clarify: What is the NIC?

OK..Network interated Controller. How does one accidentally change it’s state? The reason i ask is that the Host computer that my EZ is on is part of my Digital Mizxing system that I use for Live Audio work. I connect a remote Laptop to it to run sound from various parts of the venue. Will this cause the NIC to change states and nullify my EZ?

For the record….I’m Using SAC / Software Audio Console by RML Lab’s. Incredible system for Live audio. Unbelievable.

    Well,

without knowing that much about SAC, I can see TCP/IP communication is part of the framwork, right?
So, one can assume your NIC is involved some way, or the SAC system adds real or virtual NIC’s to your system.
If this state is your preferred working state, just Authorize EZdrummer again.
