You don’t have to authorize it if you had a working EZdrummer 1 installation. The site status is not accurate in other words – as long as it works inside EZdrummer 2 then you are good.

Or are you saying that the EZX wants authorizing inside the program?

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, it all works fine in EZ2. The problem is upgrades. If it is not getting authorized I’m not getting the upgrades for that package.

I do not understand what you are saying. Can you describe exactly what does not work as expected?

I have the Pop/Rock EZX which I bought along with a bunch of other packages. I have installed them all and they work beautifully within EZ2, including the Pop/Rock package. The problem is this, when you go to your “my products” page the packages that you’ve bought are displayed. When there is an update it will have a link underneath the products picture. In order to get these updates your product has to be authorized. Which means Toontrack has not authorized this package, I cannot get the upgrades for this package. So some how I need to get Pop/Rock authorized.

the Pop/Rock EZX is a brand new product. There are currently no updates available… I don’t think you need the product to be authorised to access those anyhow, but that is why you won’t see any.

Incidentally you can use the EZdrummer 2 menu entry called ‘check for updates’. It will tell you exactly which product you own (and are installed) are not up-to-date!
