Hi there,
I`ve had EZ Drummer with a couple of expansion packs for a while ( since around 2011 ) and I`ve also got EZ Mix 2 although I don`t use it as much. I`ve also purchased the Americana expansion pack but haven`t downloaded and installed yet.
My question/ problem is this.
Recently my main Music PC has started acting up, crashing, not connecting to the internet etc. etc. Which is the main reason I haven`t authorised the new expansion pack and upgraded to EZ Drummer 2.
My choices appear to be wipe the computer ( including maybe a new hard drive ) and re-install everything I`ve got with new codes and then upgrade to EZ Drummer 2, or by a whole new computer and re- install everything, with new codes, and then upgrade.
Obviously I`d rather not have to buy a new computer so I`ll probably try the first way initially.
If when I`ve wiped the current computer asked for new authorisation codes etc. it has not fixed the problem and the PC is still no good. Will I run into difficulties with a whole new computer within a couple of weeks as I`ll have to ask for a “whole new set of authorisation codes” for the new PC. Will this repeated asking for codes be frowned upon.
I`m a little concerned and would appreciate some clarification.
Thanks
Keith
No problem, Keith.
Your first Authorizations for EZdrummer and Nashville are from 2010 and there is nothing strange with needing new ones 4 years later. The fact is, though, you still have 2 unused Auths per product. Just make sure you make the ones not active anymore Inactive. When you run out of your total of 4 per product, please contact Support to Remove the Inactive ones.
