Auditioning of patterns playing a chord progression – workflow improvement?

Hey!

EZ Bass is awesome! Love this VST, fantastic work guys.

I have question regarding the workflow when auditioning patterns. It seems to me, that I have to use the “replace midi” function every time I want to hear a different pattern over my chord progression. Is there a way to browse through patterns over a specific chord progression faster than this? I know I can listen the pattern by it self of course, but I’m mostly interested in hearing it over my chord progression.

It could be AWESOME if I could have a chord progression playing and change the EZ bass pattern on the fly without having to stop and replace midi data each time. Hope this makes sense 🙂

BEST ANSWER

I don’t  understand what you mean. If you have a chord progression on the midi track and click replace midi,  you can just switch patterns continously?  If you have sync with daw enabled you can even loop a section of song and hear the whole arrangement  while you preview different  patterns.

Ah yeah, you’re right. I thought I had to click “save changes” before the pattern in my progression was changed. But yeah just realized that it actually changes immediately. Makes previewing much faster. Thanks!
