Audition stacked instrument with original with Preview Pad

Hi

When you use the “Search for Instrument” dialog box to stack instruments I am interested in hearing both the new drum and original drum together while auditioning the various drums? I found this works if you use the Auto Load feature and trigger the drum from a keyboard etc. What about using the Preview Pad. The Preview Pad always switches over to the instrument being stacked and not the whole stack.

There seems to be a bug that won’t let you preview the entire stack by clicking on the stack label (above the selected parts of the instrument on the right side of Search for Instrument).
In the meantime – you can solo the snare and have a Groove looping on the track while trying out different stacks to hear what it will sound like.

The bug will be fixed, and I will take a look at the preview pad’s functionality to see what I can do about it! Thanks for the feedback!

A request, also regarding the “search for instrument”, can user made instruments please be added to the search so they can be easily selected for stacking also.

Yes, this is a feature that would improve the usability. We have noted it, and we’ll try to get it into the software in the future!
