    Hi tomi,

I am just now sending Bass audio from an Audio Track with the Audio Sender plugin in Logic to the EZbass Audio Tracker inserted on an Instrument Track with no problems.

Is this how you have set it up?

Ï am using Logic Pro 10.5.1 on Catalina 10.15.6 with EZbass 1.0.6 and Audio Sender 1.0.4

    BR,
    John

Hi, I have same problem – can’t get Audio Sender to connect with EZ Bass. Audio Sender plugin window says Not Connected. In my case, I’m just trying to import already recorded acoustic guitar from a Garageband audio track into EZ Bass to generate a bassline. The instructions say I should select input “guitar” (which is the name of the track I’m trying to record/import into EZ Bass), but the EZ Bass Standalone does not show “guitar” as an input option- instead it wants to connect to my audio interface or built-in microphone on my Mac. What am I missing here? Thanks!

P.S. Is there a way to use EZ Bass as a plug-in rather than standalone? Maybe that’s where I’m going wrong? Thanks again

Yes. You need to have both EZbass loaded as an instrument inside your DAW as well as Audio Sender.

I’m having similar issues. I installed the latest EZbass and audio sender via product manager yesterday.

    1. When I open GarageBand and try to add a plugin, I only see audio sender (NO EZbass). Is the plugin not installing correctly? Is there supposed to be an option for “ezbass” in garaegband as a plugin? My understanding is that it should work as a plugin, not merely as a standalone.
    2. I’m trying to get audio sender to connect to EZbass *standalone* and it’s not working. The audio sender instructions are telling me to “Select the tab named ‘audio sender'” and then “click ‘record audio from DAW'” but there is no option to record audio from DAW. Perhaps this is because I’m trying to get the standalone version to connect to the audio sender plugin? I would like to use it as a plugin
    3. I followed the steps outlined here (https://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/articles/my-newly-installed-plug-in-isnt-showing-up-in-garageband/) to make it re-scan for audio units. I did that. It re-scanned for them. It found audio sender but did not find ezbass.
    4. I’m running Big Sur. Is it not compatible? It’s a fresh install of macOS Big Sur (11.1) with latest GarageBand (10.4.2), running the latest ezbass (1.0.7). Note that it was installed via product manager. Everything says I have all updates, the most recent installs / versions. Is there something I’m missing? How do I get it to work as a plugin?

    Feeling totally lost here.

Looks like that list shows plugins. EZbass is an instrument. I don’t use GarageBand but I think there is an instrument menu as well as a plugin menu.

    Same issues here.

I have Cubase 12 and the latest EZ Bass and Audio sender versions.

As you will see from the attached screenshot, it is connected, and the correct track is selected, but it is not sending.

It did work a few sessions ago but has now stopped.

Well, Cubase is not playing there, so my guess is you just need to start playback in Cubase.
