Whits end here.
I’ve changed from windows to Mac recently and part of my reasoning was to be able to use my EZDrummer 2.0 properly. I have an AudioBox 1818VSL Interface and I was running studio live unfortunately I have never been able to use EZDrummer as a plug in because I had the Artist version of the software …. (so stupid) and I don’t really like the DAW that much because they want to keep making you use of buy their crap and the new DAW is 400 plus and I didn’t have the correct set up for that. . . Any way I decided to go MAC and Give Logic Pro X a go. Well ever since I got my MAC mini I haven’t been able to get playback for EZD through anything but the internal speaker. The layout and audio set up of this Mac is so basic I feel like I am missing something simple (I probably am). I have the Universal Controller installed and everything else plays back flawlessly. I have invested to much into this program and expansions and equipment for it to be basically a metronome…plz help. From what I read in the manual I should be able to use EZD as a standalone and in my DAW I haven’t figured out how to do either as of yet. Everything else I have runs flawlessly on my MAC and I hate that I am still having issues using EZD here as well Please HELP!!!
Thank you,
Jason
Does your AudioBox 1818VSL show up in the Preferences > Sound on the Mac?
If yes….
You should be able to set it up in Settings Audio/MIDI in the standalone version of EZD2 under settings > Audio/MIDI
I use an Antelope Zen Studio, however the setup should be similar to the screen except it should be your Audio Box….

Yes it does show up in the preferences > Sound on my Mac.
There is no Settings > Audio/MIDI in the standalone version of EZD2.
Im showing this Settings > General, MIDI Libraries…, MIDI Events, E-Drums, Sound Engine
Which send you to some useless screens on Humanizing, Knob modes, MIDI mapping and such. ![]()
The settings on the top left……

I don’t see this option to play stand alone on my digi 003+ Rack.
*****Disregard…I figured it out. I had to change my output to line out in system preferences-sound.
