Hi all,
I have bought and installed Drumtracker a few days ago and used it for the first time yesterday. However, when I import my wav file and playback the audio it plays back really quickly – I wish I could play my beats and paradiddles that quick!
Anyway, is there a way to get the playback to play at the original speed?
Cheers,
Tom
Hi,
could you please fill in your system specifications in your profile and/or signature?
Check that the correct audio driver is selected in the preferences.

Hi John,
Sorry about that. I have updated my profile now.
Does that help?
Kind regards,
Tom
Are you using the Mbox as your interface with Drumtracker or are you using the internal sound card?
If you use the Mbox, is it clocked to another sample rate than 44,1kHz?

John

Hi,
No, I am using the internal sound card at the minute. I was g to export the midi file fro
Drumtracker and import to Protools then use the Mbox.

I have been using Drumtracker myself with a MacBook Pro and 10.6.8 and not experienced what you describe.
If you open the Audio/MIDI setup in Utilities, select the ‘Built-in Output’, what is the sample rate set to? I use 44100kHz.

John

Hi John,
Sorry it has taken me a while to respond. I have been decorating my music room (strict instructions from the wife!) – so have been unable to test this.
I will be plugging everything back in tonight after work so I will try this out and let you know how it goes.
Cheers,
Tom
