There really isn’t such a thing as compatible with SD3. All interfaces should be compatible. The RME interfaces are known for low latency so should be ok. I use a zoom interface which gives me low latency. It also depends on how powerful your pc is as well. Also if you are thinking of direct monitoring for SD3 that is not an option. You can’t do that with a vsti. So I’m guessing you mean direct monitoring the output of your ekit audio out plugged into an interface,

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

27″ iMac i9 with 16GBmem and a 1TB SDD. I can throw anything at this and it laughs in my face 🙂 and use an UAD Arrow thunderbolt 3 audio interface, an amazing piece of tech. Works stunning with my Roland TD-17 KVX and Superior Drummer 3. with no latency i can notice at all.
