    Hi,

when you click the ‘Export…’ button in the ‘Export Song Track as Audio File(s)’ dialogue, the next step is to select the location and hit enter. Pay attention to which location is selected before you hit enter or even better, make sure you navigate to a location where you want the audio file(s) to end up.

    BR,
    John

Hi John, thanks for you reply. I have EZD2 which is so easy and files never go missing.

I’ve just exported in EZBass again and it goes through the motions and says ‘OK’ but no files!! 🙁

Also why can’t i have my drum track where i want it.  along side the bass grooves as i’m working on them??

Audio tracker doesnt work for me. After importing my drum track i want to put it where i choose. If there is away todo this please tell me.

    I don’t use a DAW!!

I can’t get the files out!!

    Hi,

Have you tried with different destination folders?

Have you tried exporting MIDI from EZbass to the same folder, to make sure that EZbass is able to create files there?

Could you post some screenshots of the steps you’re taking?

    • The whole EZbass window when the export dialog is open, just before you click the “Export…” button.
    • The folder selection dialog just before you close it.
    • The EZbass window with the progress dialog.
    • Afterwards, the destination folder in Explorer.

    Questions:

    1. If you make a new project, click Add Groove and then export the song as audio to the EZBSongs folder, does that create any files there?
    2. If the answer to the first question is No, try saving the test project to the EZBSongs folder. Does the project (.ezbp) file get created there then?

    Test project…whats that mean?

I was referring to the new project that you made and tried to export. So the question is, can you save a project in the EZBSongs folder and does it then appear there in Explorer?

Also, if you open Command Prompt and paste in the following command and press Enter, what does it show?

    dir /a %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\EZBSongs

Command prompt =  The System cannot find the path specified!!

Please type dir /a  (including the space at the end) in Command Prompt, but do not press Enter yet, instead drag the folder EZBSongs from your desktop to the Command Prompt window, so that the folder path gets inserted. Then press Enter in the Command Prompt window so that the command runs. Select all text there by pressing ctrl-A, copy it with ctrl-C and paste it here.

Yes, that’s right. The folder is indeed empty, it contains no hidden files.

As I said earlier, try to save other types of files in this folder and see if it’s possible or if they just disappear, for example an EZbass project or exported MIDI.

Thanks Olof for your help but i’m not going to keep doing the same thing over and over!! It won’t export so it’s of no use and I want a refund as it doesn’t work for whatever reason. 🙁

The same thing? You have never confirmed that you have tried to save other files there and whether they appear.
