I am using Cubase 9.5. I had a great drum setup and grooves, and then all of a sudden I got this message. I loaded another drum kit but that did not fix it. I went and created a new song and now it works fine. Any ideas why I would get this message when it worked for like 10 min. with no problem.
I get it too. It doesn’t seem to effect performance for me. Does it for you? The programmers are taking a look.

Does it effect the performance? Or does everything play back ok?

I get no sound at all. I had to scrub the song and redo it.
I am having the same issue. Just since the last update and only in stands lone mode. Never had the issue before, now it occurs every few minutes.

SAME AUDIO ENGINE PROBLEM. WITH ANY TOON TRACK PRIDUCT OPEN AUDIO ENGINE INACTIVE. PLEASE FIX THIS !
I’m on Cubase 10.5. I’ve been a Toontrack user for 10 years I think, since the first EZ Drummer. This has started happening to me today. I have to export the midi and start another track, import the midi file or start from scratch. I haven’t checked all the rest of my previous recordings, but this has the potential to really mess up my work, as I’m supposed to be delivering an album to a client this week.
Hi,
first thing to check is that your Toontrack software is up to date; you can inspect the plug-in interface and there should be a version number displayed in one of the lower corners (depending on which instrument we’re talking about). Compare this version number with the latest release, which you can find either in the Product Manager or the Release notes pages.
