Assigning the cross-stick and rim shot function

Any suggestions/tips on assigning the cross-stick and rim shot responses in EZ Drummer 3 stand alone?

I’m using the Roland TD-50X module with the Roland digital snare. I’ve so far not been able to get the learn function to accomodate both within the same snare/kit selected.

Any help is most appreciated.
