    Hi,

have you moved or copied the ezdrummer.dll file post initial install?
Which version number is displayed in the plugin interface?
Are you Enabling and Disabling a Network Interface Controller in between Authorizing and running it in Ableton?

I have removed your old Inactive Authorizations.
Are you positive you aren’t mixing up the Funkmaster EZX Auth with the EZdrummer Auth?

    BR,
    John

    hi John,
you will have to forgive my ignorance, PC recording is real new to me after years of using a Yamaha AW1600 ! I have been using my EZDrummer and Funkmaster very happily with Reaper. No issues, i have changed to a new computer as well a few months ago, again no issues, had to get reauthorization for the new PC, but no probs.

So i was using Reaper with EZ just to create patterns then import to the Yamaha…with me so far !

Now, fast forward to last week. I have bought the POD Farm studio which comes with Ableton Lite software. After getting it all set up i needed to pull in the EZ drummer plug-in, so i called up the Plug In browser searched etc and got it dialled in, and it stated i was not authorized on this computer, so did the re-authorizing and everything was fine.

But i shut it down for a bit and came back to it later, called up the plug in again and it gives me the same unauthorized message.

Truth be known i am not liking the Ableton software and after getting used to Reaper would rather carry on with that anyway. So I loaded Reaper back up and now i am getting the same message on that as well.
Also when i tried the POD Farm on Reaper, it loaded ok and recognised it but i was getting no audio ! But as a standalone load it was fine….

Sorry for being long winded but this kind of stuff just does my head in !!

You’re sure you haven’t changed any hardware in your computer?
And you don’t Disable or Enable a Network Interface Controller in between working with audio and going online?
Are you using a new POD Studio interface? If so, was it after installing it, the Auth screen started coming up.
Are you getting the same Computer ID each time you are presented with Authorization screen?

    Best Regards,
    John

Where do I find the Computer ID on a 2007 MacBook Pro? I tried the serial number that doesn’t work. I tried the IP address that doesn’t work. Your website states that it can be found on “authorization screen” but where is that? Please let me know. thx in advance

The authorization screen (that includes the Computer ID) should pop up the first time you open EZdrummer in your host.

    Sorry John,
been a while since i could answer these questions. Yes it has started happening since loading the POD, and yes i do have to enable and disable my wi-fi everytime i need to use the POD studio because otherwise i get stuttering.

Should i just have a standalone computer for recording really and not go online ?

    Need this sorted mate…help

    thanks
