I just authorized EZD and all my EZX packs in Toontrack Solo. But every single time I open Pro Tools 9, and try to put EZD on a track, I’m asked to authorize it again. I’m running Windows 7 64bit.
Since authorizing in Solo, they all continue to work in Solo. But in PT9, I get asked for the auth every time.
It doesn’t do this on my Mac, however. Everything is running smooth on my MacBook Pro. Everything also ran smooth on this same tower when it was running WinXP.
What could be happening here?

This is most likely a UAC issue with Win7.
Right click the ProTools.dll and select ‘Run as administrator…’. Hopefully this will allow the code to ‘stick’.

Do you mean run the Pro Tools exe? You said dll. let me know if there’s another file I should run.
I’ll give that a shot. I’m already not liking Win7. lol. And I’m loving my Mac even more than I did before. 😉

Not a problem, I figured that’s what you meant. Thanks again. I’ll give it a try tomorrow.
