I pulled several midi grooves from various EZ libraries into a track in my DAW. I just noticed that the groove clips are not labeled anything more than EZDrummer 01 or EZDrummer 02. The numbers represent the groove variation that I chose. But now I have no idea which pack/library these grooves came from. Didn’t the old EZ Drummer used to assign an actual file name to each clip and indicate which expansion pack or midi pack that the groove came from? Is there more info on the clips that I am not seeing?
Hi,
you can record the groove clips back to the EZdrummer 2 Song Track and use the Find function to locate them in the Browser.

Record it back? I don’t know what that means. When I place a copy of the groove clip into either the “midi drop zone” or the “midi song blocks zone”, it just gives me hundreds and hundreds of options and nowhere does it tell me where I got that groove clip from. The only “find” function that I can see is “tap to find” and when I select that, the program just presents me a drum kit. That does not help me. What else can I do?
