I imported the midi from my AR drummer libraries a while back and all was fine. But when I went to play around with the new grooves tab yesterday, the folders showed up “empty” though when I showed them in the finder, all the midi files were actually still there. Then when I dragged the midi into the browser, a couple worked, displaying the patterns but then the crashing started either when I tried to play the displayed pattern or dragging in new midi. Is this a problem with the updated grooves tab?
Hi,
Are those MIDI folders located within the User MIDI folder? If so, you need to select “Sync File Changes” from its menu to make the files show up again. (This is caused by the change in the database format to support the new MIDI column.)
Could you upload some of those crash logs? You should be able to find them if you use the “Go” menu in Finder, select “Go to Folder…” from it and paste this path into the dialog: ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/
