AOR Ballad Midi can’t be installed on Big Sur (Mac M1)

I bought this Midi pack today (part of the 6 pack). I use Toontrack Product Manager to install the applications and extensions including the Midi Pack.

AOR Ballad Midi is the only pack that couldn’t be deployed by the Product Manager, instead, it downloaded a zipped file.

When I tried to install it – it gave me a message to get an updated version of this pack. I have attached a couple of screenshots of this issue.

If Toontrack can’t provide me with an updated installer, then I want to choose another pack (free of cost).

Hi Naweed,

 

AOR Ballad Grooves should also be able to be installed by the Product Manager application.

 

The installer for AOR Ballad Grooves that is downloaded in the .DMG archive is still 32-Bit and will not run on Big Sur, but if you use the Install Product button in Product Manager it should launch the installer even on Big Sur.

Thanks for your reply. After trying few times instead of getting the DMG downloaded directly to download folder, I was presented with Install Product option. It got installed successfully 🙂

The problem is resolved.
