Or is it possible to get a legacy version of SD2 to play on a M2 mac?
I really miss the tambourines in that library especially…and a little bummed that Toontrack locked access to those libraries in SD3

Hi,
SD3 does not intentionally “lock out” Superior 1 libraries, they’re just not compatible, since the plug-in and the format of the sample libraries had to evolve over 15+ years.
I have an M1 Max and M1 Ultra which both have Superior Drummer 2 installed and working, however it depends on which host you are using if you need to start it in Rosetta mode.

John

Thanked by: drumjack52, Oli Poulsen and Scott EshlemanHi John
Thanks for the reply!
I can see it with Rosetta.
But I do think that the libraries should be compatible with the current host…all my Kontakt libraries still work after all these years, so in my book Toontrack should still make the legacy libraries available for the SD3 format.
I do miss some of the dfh sounds…
