Any SDX libraries have hand-played samples?

I think Legacy of Rock SDX has a hands/finger kit. Also The Music City SDX.

Check the audio samples on each product page to see which sound best for you.

As Scott mentioned, Legacy of Rock has a kit played with hands. As well, Jazz Sessions also contains a kit played with hands.

As Jordan says, the Jazz Sessions has hands. I am working right now with the “The New Era” kit and I like a lot the hand playing. I think only The New Era has hand playing.

Super helpful. Thank you all so much. If I can’t decide based on demos, I’ll be sure to come back for more feedback 🙂

If you can’t decide… buy a bundle containing both and then select one more SDX that appeals to you. It would like getting the three of them at sale pricing. 😀

You didn’t mention which instruments you wanted hand played, but Fields of Rock has bongos and some other things hand played and they sound great with variations as you would expect. You can go to the SDX web pages and it will say. For example, near the bottom of the page “Hands” https://www.toontrack.com/product/fields-of-rock-sdx/  There are some SDXs with hand played drum set too.

Yeah it’s tough.  But I got a 4-pack and I’ve only used it with Hansa. I got Area 33 Origins when it was super cheap in December.

I think Legacy of Rock sound pretty good, but the Jazz set would probably cover more sounds that I don’t already have covered.  I don’t want to get both though.  But I think of the hand-played stuff I like LOR better.  It’s on sale!  But not by that much.
