Another “Crackle” thread…

I see that another person started a thread on the sound playback quality but his issue seems to be centered around PC performance or lack there of…. I am running an Intel Cor i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz, Hyperthreaded to 8 cores, 6GB RAM….Sonar X1… I have Retro Electrics installed and notice that it sounds like an old LP when playing back ???? Can you please help me understand why this is happening?? I don’t believe this is the way these samples should sound… Please help, and I apologize if you consider this a duplicate post..
