Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this.
I purchased SD2 recently, and I think it is a great drumming plug in, one of the best there is, but in my opinion it could be more user friendly to those of us with disabilities. SD2/Solo is not a user friendly interface to the visually impaired. I am partially blind as it is, and not being able to free float the Solo app outside a browser window, as well as being denied the ability to MAGNIFY or ENLARGE the SD2 app itself has seriously and negatively effected my creative work flow. I cannot express enough what an inconvenience it is when I literally have to put down what I’m doing, get up, and walk across my room to read and make adjustments to the interface simply because I cannot see it on my 60″ LCD/HDTV monitor! Even with the Solo app at maximum, the SD2 app embedded within it is no more than 10×12″ inches square!… Yes, at first I thought it was a joke too.
Now for an outside the box perspective… When I purchased SD2 I was under the impression that I would have full unhindered access to the SD2 application that I paid for, and at no time, did Toontrack or it’s authorized sales representatives warn me about the “LIMITED VISUAL ACCESS” I would have to the SD2/Solo product in their advertising. I feel the product I received is literally less than half of what I paid for! I am so frustrated at this point I am gearing up to launch a formal complaint and rewrite a 1 STAR review on Amazon, but before I do that, I figure I would try this forum first to find a solution or a compromise to our problem here.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
