Have you tried authorizing via the EZmix standalone version instead of trying to authorize in Logic? Are you running the latest version of EZmix?

    Hi Scott,

I have not tried that, but will. I have ezmix 2.0.0. I have looked for more updates, I have downloaded EZmix 2.0.5 for Mac OS 10.5 update, but have not found any others.

    Thanks for your response:)

    Scott,
Not showing in stand alone version either.
I never have any trouble with toontrack products, kind of baffled with this one.
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

What does the EZmix interface show as the version number? It should read 2.0.5.

Does your EZmix show the red ‘New’ icon for the new pack you installed?

The version reads as 2.0.0, but I have downloaded the update a couple of times.
The red “new” icon does not show.
I’m wondering if the update and ezmix pack is in the correct folder.

    Thanks for your continued help!

It won’t show unless you have the latest version installed. Have you tried running the installer again?

    OK,

please try uninstalling with the uninstaller included in the EZmix 2.0.5 update package. Make sure there’s no EZmix 2 left on your hard drive.
The standalone should definitely be gone from your ‘Applications/Toontrack’ folder but you can also check:
    {Mac HD}/Library/Plug-Ins/Components/
    {Mac HD}/Library/Plug-Ins/VST/

for EZmix and make sure there’s no plugin file left.

Run the 2.0.5 updater again and in Logic, you go to the AU Manager and select EZmix 2 for a rescan. When it’s ready, you should have the plugin report version 2.0.5 when loaded.
After that, re-install your Preset pack(s).

    BR,
    John
