Americana download issue

There is no place on this forum for EZX help but since this is an EZ Drummer expansion I’m posting here.

I purchased a download version of Americana from an online retailer. I was provided a link to download it. I’ve tried to download it a few times in case the download wasn’t good. Download(s) seem fine. However, every time I try to install it, it gets about a quarter of the way done then gives me a message telling me the file is unavailable or to run it as an administrator.

This is a brand new i7 26oo Sandy Bridge. 8 gigs of ram. 3 -1 TB HD’s. It is Win7 64 bit. I have already installed all of my other Toontrack products (SD2, 1 SDX, about 7 or 8 EZX’s, EZ Keys etc. All with no problems at all.

Suggestions?

Hi,

please make sure you fully extract the ZIP archive before running the installer, e.g. download it to your Desktop, right-click it and select ‘Extract all…’. I guess you are merely browsing the archive when you run the installer which usually do not work.
