Alternate hits in grid editor?

Hey all. Using a kit I’ve created in SD3. I like to use the grid editor to write my parts, but I can’t just figure out how to make various drum and cymbal hits (eg. Alternate hihat open/closed/step, ride bell, snare rim).

To be more clear, I can get each hit to be an edge shot on the ride cymbal, but I can’t figure out how to make the hit a bell shot. From the grid editor page.

Hi,

if I understand you correctly, you simply expand the Instrument lane by clicking the small arrow to the left of the name (e.g. ‘Ride’).
