I see there is a setting EZKeys for “Allow MIDI Program Change.” I am assuming this is to switch between sounds and presets. I don’t understand how to make this work.
I use EZKeys programmatically more than I do with a keyboard. Can I just add a MIDI note like c -1 to trigger a change somehow? Thanks in advance to someone who can explain this.
Hi,
you choose EZK with ‘Bank Select’ messages and then use ‘Program Change’ to select a particular Preset.

Where is “Bank Select?”
Hi,
it’s a MIDI Message:

Thanks. I know what a MIDI message is, but where in the EZ Keys UI can you assign the message to switching the instrument?
Interesting. Look, I have made a small screen recording where I draw in Bank MSB and Program Change – in this case I use Logic Pro but the principle is the same regardless of host – and when I hit play, you will see EZkeys change Library and Preset.
I have drawn in Bank MSB value ‘8’, which selects the 9th Library in my Library list (the first would have value ‘0’) and that is ‘HYBRID HARP’ and then I have drawn in value ’34’ for Program Change, which is the ‘Percussive Notes’ Preset.
