I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the entire suite, but since updating to the latest versions of all the software, all of the names of the midi files in the explorer are nothing but periods, spaces and commas.
I believe that is a simplified view of the midi pattern itself, like what you would see in tracker view. Although you can’t make out minute details, this can give you a visual idea of how each midi will sound, whether it’s busy or sparse, etc.
