Hi,
I have an RET Percussion edrum kit which uses an Alesis Trigger IO. I am running Windows 7 (64) and am using Toontrack Solo to host EZdrummer.
I installed the most recent versions of Solo/EZdrummer, which seem to run successfully. However, I am unable to get my edrums to trigger sound in EZdrummer.
I have set Options->controller->E-drums and the ‘TriggerIO’ is selected as the MIDI hardware driver. The Alesis Trigger IO is responding (the lights on the IO turn on when I hit the drumhead triggers), and the Trigger IO installed successfully on the computer, and I know that it used to work as the previous owner successfully used EZdrummer via Garageband.
Can you please offer some suggestions to help me figure this out? I think the first step is to ensure that the triggerIO is sending MIDI data to the computer, but I am a complete newbie and don’t know how to do this.
Thanks so much.

I installed the ASIO4ALL drivers. Should I always select Audio Device->Device Type ASIO when I use EZdrummer.
Yes, if you want low latency.
Also, what should I set the Latency Buffer to be?
The lowest setting you can get without playback problems. 64-128 buffer should be good.
