Hi guys, I am running a highish spec PC with Windows 10 Home, SSD card for SD3, 64gb RAM & AMD Ryzen 7 3700X etc. When I load up SD3 on my PC and plug in my AKAI MPK mini controller. There is a noticable latency with the drums sounding from when I trigger the sound, too much for comfortable working. I have connected it via a USB 3 cable to PC port. I am using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 for my audio device straight out to my Presonus monitors. I have Studio One V4 and have the same latency issue. I presume if I can solve the stand-alone latency then that will be enough for me to work with any DAW etc.
Please can anyone help get this annoying input latency to a manageable level?
Many Thanks 🙂
What audio buffer size are you running? If you lower it, does it help with the latency?

Thanked by: Barry DalchowHi Scott thanks for your reply, I found the problem was in the SD3 settings – Audio Device was on WASAPI, I set it to ASIO and chose my Focusrite USB ASIO. All is good now 🙂
