I upgraded from EZdrummer 2 to 3 and now if I open a project (that used EZdrummer 2) on my DAW the drum track is disabled and it says VST cannot be found! Please help. I have years of projects now without drums!
Hi,
the two can coexist and there is no automatically uninstalling of EZdrummer 2 when installing EZdrummer 3.
In you screen shot, the EZbass VST2 plug-in isn’t found either, so something seems to have happened with those two .dll’s or your VST 2 paths.
Can you start the EZdrummer 2 and EZbass standalone apps?

Thank you, yes, I can indeed open the EZDrummer 2 stand-alone app! (And EZbass) Hmm… what has happened to those paths?…so strange. I didn’t change anything. However, after I upgraded there was an option to delete 4G of unused items. Could the paths have been deleted due to that? Maybe I shouldn’t have deleted that stuff.
OK, when you start the standalone app, you can check exactly where the VST2 plug-in is installed by going to the Help Menu > Show VST Plug-In Path.
This path shows you the location of the .dll file. The same path needs to be included in Ableton in its Search/Scan for VST2 plug-ins, so please check this in the Ableton Preferences.
