Can anyone tell me how and where to purchase an additional Superior Drummer 3 license? I need to authorize a third computer and to my understanding you can only authorize two simultaneously.
Thanks!
I’m definitely not certain but I think you’d have to just buy another full copy of SD3.

Do you really need to have all 3 computers authorized at the same time? If so then you’re going to have to by another full SD3. Don’t overlook any SDX’s you have as well.

I wasn’t sure if I had to buy another full Copy of SD3 or if I could purchase an extended license. The issue I’m having is when I share a song file from my DAW(Reason11) with my keyboard player using the SD3 DAW plugin the SD3 drums don’t transfer because he doesn’t have SD3 in his computer. And, when I drag the midi info from the SD3 DAW version on to an instrument track in Reason 11, even though I see the SD3 midi info flashing on the track I can’t hear or see a channel associated with the midi track in the Reason mixer. I didn’t know how to get that to work so I thought maybe my keyboard player should have SD3 in his computer so the groove data would trigger the parts like in my computer. I was inquiring about the license is because my computer as well as my recording engineer have authorizations of my SD3 license. If I could just get the midi info from the SD3 DAW version on to a track in Reason 11 and actually hear it I would be ok. I normally play live into the DAW with SD3 but this time I used grooves to build the drum parts in the song.
You need to have a drum instrument in Reason to be able to play the MIDI from SD3. Reason uses MIDI channel 10 (if they haven’t changed that). I know Reason used to be a competent GM (General MIDI) sound engine. Also keep in mind that the MIDI in SD3 may not be mapped to the correct kit pieces in Reason. That’s because SD3’s MIDI mapping ignores the MIDI spec of 4 rack toms.

If you are sending your keyboard player MIDI to add a keyboard track and send it back to you, create a stereo audio .wav file from your SD3 plugin, using: Track > Bounce Menu, instead of sending MIDI. Is that an option?
