adding instruments to sound expansions

Hey,

I am new to EZdrummer and use it with my Roland VDrums.

I noticed that some extensions like UK or Jazz do not have a full drum kit  but only 2 toms for example.

Is is correct that I cannot add a 3rd and 4th tom to such a Kit  ?

That means that I need to create my own Kit based on a full kit like Ezdrummer modern (with enough instruments) and then change to sound of each instrument until it matched a jazz kit ?

You are correct.

Keep in mind, after you’ve gone through the effort. You could Save a Custom Kit or better, a Library Preset to preserve your setup.

When I turn the local control of the VDrums off and use a MIDI Input and Soundprocessing with low latency so that I can play live with sounds from EZ Drummer, then I can use every hardware instrument I have. The additional Tom are played with different sound but visually represented with ONE tom in the interface. Strange but it seems to work.
