Adding insert designed for one part of the kit to the drums bus

This might be a slighty daft question, but nevermind! If I was to add an insert designed for a kick drum into the group drum bus would it kind of recognise that intelligently (in terms of analysing the sound) and work okay, or really would I really need to set up separate outputs and put insert only on the kick? Thanks for any insights you can give me.

EZmix can’t know/analyze the source. It’s just a preset.

Question for you…

Does the kick drum preset sounds good on the drum bus? If so, use it. If not, try something else 🙂
