Adding a Countin sound to all kits?

Hi, I regularly use a stick click count-in sound (From the Music City SDX) for intros and musician cues.  It’s easy enough to add it as an instrument to the current kit, but if I swap kits I lose it + have to add it again.  Forgive my ignorance but is there a way to “add it globally”?  My current klunky workaround is to use a whole instance of SD3 just to do count-ins!

BEST ANSWER

• When loading a new preset, click the small arrow on the right side of the preset (in the menu), then open Select Parts…
• In there, select Keep Added Instrument

Workflow hint:

• besides clicking the small down arrow in the menu, you can also right click the preset to show the menu, or ctrl + click to open Select Parts directly.
