Is there a way to use EZMix on SD3? If I had raw drums, or each track was mapped to a track in my DAW, I could add ez mix as a plugin to each track and use the drum effects on kick bus, snare, etc. Since SD3 has some built in effects, and everything is nicely mapped in the mixer, its easier to stay in that sandbox, is there some way I can load ez mix as an effect inside of SD3?
There is not, unfortunately.

Is there a way to bus some tracks (like a few snares) to a bus that gets out put to its own track in the daw(for further editing)?
Hi,
the SD3 plug-in has got 16 Stereo Outputs which you can route to tracks/channels in your DAW.
I assume you are using Logic? When you add the SD3 plug-in to your Project, you have two options: a Stereo or Multi-Output version(x16).
When the Multi-Output version is inserted, you can add the separate outputs in the Logic mixer by clicking the small ‘+’ button right over the Solo button.
In the SD3 mixer, you can either change the outputs of channels by clicking the output list below the faders or insert Bus sends on select channels to send a signal to a Bus in the SD3 mixer, which in turn can have its output set to one of the separate ones in your Logic mixer. Useful if you e.g. want to Send from the SD3 mixer to an effect in your Logic mixer.

John
