Seems fairly straight forward…Looking to create full drum songs to completion and
then bring them into DAW..Reaper. Reaper loads EZ drummer VSTi for creating new files but doesn’t allow you to open any
completed files to import. Can someone please point to a FAQ or tutorial.
Thanks

So, are you wanting to make a drum part in EZD2 standalone and export to audio .wav file and then open that .wav file in Reaper? Or, load EZD2 as a VSTi in Reaper and create your drum part on the EZD2 Song Track then drag and drop the MIDI into Reaper? Or some other method?

I have figured out how to save as a wav and import or add wav to reaper or Sonar…the problem is I want to add additional loos and build upon the original drum track taking advantage of the beat mapping and matching capabilities of the daw. When importing as a wav…all tempo and beat matching goes out the window.
When using EZD as a plug in you get no way of opening a complete song or having the daw play it.
Thanks for the help

Hi,
if you have Saved the Project, you can use the ‘Open Project’ entry in the EZdrummer 2 plugin Menu to open it.

I was browsing for an answer to another question and saw this. I user Sonar as daw. For me, a lot of times, I’ll create the song in EZD2 and export the midi out, bring it back in on another midi track in Sonar. Now I can piano roll edit, chop into clips, etc, etc. Just another way of doing things.
