I would like to know.. After the bandmate analyzes my audio file, does it offer rhythmic grooves based on its own libraries or is it possible to get the groove of my analyzed audio file? Or both? And how to do this? Or am I missing something? Thank you.
Hi,
there are two types of grooves that can appear in the Bandmate groove browser.
– Toontrack EZkeys MIDI from your Grooves library that matches the rhythm (transients) in the imported source file. Bandmate may automatically modify the grooves to better match the rhythm in certain cases even before you start using the amount knobs.
– User MIDI from your user libraries.
The groove controls will manipulate the groove that EZkeys 2 matched your idea to.
Note Amount: The Note Amount knob will tell the Bandmate algorithm to use more or less notes based on the accents, transients, and notes that Bandmate finds in your source material.
Octave: Transpose the generated groove up or down in octaves.
Edit: The Edit knobs and settings controls the timing and velocity of the groove.
