Hi
I have dozens of ready made Ableton drum kits (Drum Racks).
How do I make these appear within SD3 as kits?
Hi,
AFAIK those are internal to the Ableton host and cannot be opened within a VST plugin.

The only solution is: You have to re-built all your Ableton Drum Kits in SD3 by creating custom user kits and importing all the single samples that you use in your Ableton Drum Kits. As John said, the drum racks of Ableton are features inside of Ableton, and you won’t find any host where you can export/import those features/instruments etc. into a plugin or other host systems or something. BUT, if you do this effort and re-built all your Ableton Drum Kits in SD3 and save it as SD3 custom user kits, you can use these kits with SD3 in every other host where can use SD3 as a VST-plugin, which means that you would have all these drum kits independent from the host, but of course dependent from SD3. 🙂
