A bit of advice…

Hi all. Newbie here.

I’ve just bought EZKeys Grand Piano but I’m having some headaches with it. I load up a midi file from my expansion pack (AOR) and go for something really basic, C major, for example, but the presets in the Circle of 5th’s thing seem a bit over the top: flattened 4th, major 7th, diminished 9th etc. Is this the default setting for EZKeys, would you know?

Basically, my question is how can I just start off with a very basic chord sequence and just build up and just add augmented or diminished on an as and when basis?
