You don’t have to save a present for each tom. You can save a single user present with all of your changes.

    Good morning

Under the File menu, you will find save as, give it a new descriptive name. To get that same configuration back open superior, drummer, and load that configuration.

That is if you want to save a project. To save a user preset, you will find the save under the preset dropdown.

Yes, all mixer and microphone routings are saved in user preset.

    Thanks for the replies!

I’m asking since I changed the toms but when recalling the presets the tuning, pitch, etc wasnt saved only the type of tom was saved, for example it was an Ayotte tom with certain dimensions, but I want to save the tuning, pitch, enevelope also with it the preset and hopefully in just one preset for each tom, like Ayotte Racktom 1, Ayotte Racktom 2, Ayotte Racktom 3, Ayotte Floortom 1 and Ayotte Floortom 2. So I can recall all their settings when starting over with a new Sd3 project!

But I will try again this evening! Thanks again!

if you look closely whenever you change any parameter, you will see an Asterix beside the user preset appear. This means that there are changes that need to be saved. If you don’t save them the next time you recall the preset, you will have lost any of your changes.

I took one preset and loaded it then made changes and saved it as another preset name.
    Example

    bbV1

    bbV2

It worked now when saving the toms with all the changes to tuning, pitch, etc.

Dont know why it didnt first time, must have done something wrong?

    Thanks for your help!

A tip I liked to offer:

When saving a user pre set , name the new settings set/kit using the original name in the title somehow.
For example , if the original pre set was “Ayote default “ name the new settings as “Ayote default xxx”

In the name try to include whatever song or project inspired the new set. This way it will be easier to recall where all original sounds were.

As it is now , the user pre set dialog box is empty and offers no reference to where it once came.
This helps when you want to tweak a drum or mixer state and you want to go back to where it came from.
It will also be listed right next to the original kit and or setting when you go looking for it.
