    The latest EZdrummer update includes the 64-bit Windows version.

    Thank you for the reply. So, I install the base product, then install both the 32 and 64-bit updates and I am good to go? If so, that doesn’t sound too bad.

    Yes, just make sure your 64-bit host is referencing the 64-bit version of EZD and is not just bit-bridging the 32-bit version.

    Hello. I just purchased EZ drummer yesterday for my imac, to be used with Presonnus Studio One Pro……..if I activate the 64 bit mode for Studio One Pro, will EZ Drummer work? Actually, will EZ Drummer work on my 64bit imac, period! I downloaded it yesterday, but haven’t installed it yet.

    Please let me know and thanks!

    How do you know which version of EZD the DAW (in my case Sonar 8.5) is referencing i.e. the 32 bit or the 64 bit version? I’ve upgraded EZD to the 64 bit version, but does the 32 bit version also stay installed??

    Thanks

    @Nelsoncolt:
    EZdrummer is currently 32-bit on Mac OS. It will only work in a 64-bit environment if the host provides a way to load 32-bit plugins. Not officially supported, of course.

    @snailhand:
    the plugin displays ’64-BIT’ in the plugin interface, next to the version number if it is the 64-bit version that is loaded.
    The 2 versions have different install paths and you will have to make sure Sonar picks up the 64-bit path in its VST search settings.
    Do not include the path to the 32-bit version.

    Best Regards,
    John
