So as far as I can tell, there’s no way to create a beat in 5/4 time in EZD3.

Next to the transport controls “in EZD”, change the time sig there.

I have no idea what ‘transport controls’ are, but I see nowhere in any setting options for any way to choose or change the time to 5/4.

Transport controls are the Play/Stop/Records buttons… look to the right of those.

Okay thanks.

I stumbled on the solution, highlight the first ‘4’ in the 4/4 window, and change it manually to 5. I was looking at all the drop downs.
