I installed the update with support for the TD-50X and the digital hihat VH-14D, it’s a good start, it detects bell triggering towards the center, now it needs support for the aftertouch choke like the digital ride cy-18
I’m curious about the new 3.2.7 version that was released on Nov 23rd as well. Does it support the Roland TD50x aftertouch choke on the digital hi-hat and also the side stick articulation when playing a side stick on the digital snare where you can play a side stick with just the shoulder of the stick on the rim and the other end of the stick on the drum head along with the hand, rather than having both ends of the stick on the rim? Or, is there a way to accomplish this within the settings of Superior Drummer 3?

Is there any way to programmatically achieve the muting aftertouch for the hi-hat and the side stick articulation when you play a side stick with just the shoulder of the stick on the rim. I would think there’s specific aftertouch and MIDI message coming from the TD-50X that you could potentially map to accomplish this. Unfortunately I don’t have a TD-50X so I can’t monitor the MIDI messages coming from that module to try this out.

Sure. i can build you an engine the same way like with the ride: (LINK). 🙂
