Hi,
there is no Grid Editor for individual note editing like in SD3, no. You can however cut your groove up into small parts on the Song Track and use the amount knob, cut specific instrument notes, paste instrument notes from other parts, etc. to get into pretty fine details.
If I understand you correctly, you want to create your song on the Song Track in the EZdrummer 2 plug-in, drag the MIDI to your FL track when done and still have the possibility to return to what you created on the EZdrummer 2 Song Track?
If so, you lasso select all the grooves on your EZdrummer 2 Song Track (after it has been dragged to FL), right-click it and select ‘Mute’. This way it will not be doubled when you play the Timeline in FL.
You can also disable ‘Follow Host’ in EZdrummer 2 but then you might want to remember to check the the Tempo is still the same in the plug-in and FL if you use any Tempo- based internal FX in the EZdrummer 2 Mixer.

John

thanks for the first answer. as for 2 though i guess i should of prefaced that attempting to drag the midi into my FL timeline doesn’t actually do anything (that is, trying to drag whats directly on EZDrummers songmaking timeline into FL), am i supposed to be able export it out of the song maker before i can do that?
