Why do you need Cut Time? Cut time does mean 2/2. It’s for the sake of high tempo songs that would be difficult to notate in 4/4 to my knowledge. So one doesn’t have to notate a 1/128th note for example. I think people who site read music are the only ones that are utilizing cut time, hence there not being much or any options in the midi world.

What does cut time mean to you? If you want half time feel, stay in 4/4 and try the Tempo Modifier Button at the top of the Browser that says “1/2”, or simply cut your tempo in half.

Hi and thanks again for the reply Shootie,

I am trying to cover a song in 2/2… Thus why I was trying to obtain it in EzKeys. I have played with the Tempo (modifier) at the top and tried the 1/2 setting. That does seem to help line of some of the notes in the chords. I will try and play with it some more, as it seems I was on the right track, just as you mention to try.

    All the best,

    D
