    Are you running it standalone, or in a DAW (Logic, Cubase, or similar)?

    What buffer size are you using? Usually, this is what sets the latence; a smaller buffer size will decrease the latency, but increase the workload of the CPU. So usually one should pick a buffer size as low as possible, without getting any audio glitches. I have my buffer size in standalone set at 64, which gives me a latency of 1.5 ms. But when I run a DAW, it must sometimes have a bit larger buffer size, 128, to avoid glitches, since all the plugins requires some CPU.

    However, when I use a daw for mixing, and not recording anything, I set the buffer size to 1024 or higher, since the input latency won’t matter in that case, and I can use many plugins simultaneously without problems…
