The SD 3 Blues Midi is the one I am using. I dropped the drum midi onto EZBass and the suggested midi is off by a bunch.. I can nudge the notes, but, that’s a lot of extra work every time I need to do this.. The bass doesn’t follow the kick drum at all.. (none of the suggested progressions)
Also, on the web site for drum midi, the are two different midi packs for Blues. One is titled “Blues Midi”, the other is titled “The Blues Midi EZX”. At the bottom of the “The Blues EZX” page is a disclaimer saying that all the midi is the same as in the “The Blues EZX” pack, which makes no sense, because that is the page I am viewing. Is there a difference?
I tried some files, Mid Shuffle 112 > Hats Closed 04 for example, but it played as it was supposed to. Can you name a drum groove that doesn’t get translated well in EZbass Drums & Keyes?

yea, I figured it out, the slow blues 92 for SD 3 seems to be the bad ones.. I switched to the mid tempo and now it works.. (midtempo 118) (12/8)
Thanks for the info! We’ll look into those files.

Thanked by: BlueGenesIt’s the midi file on the 12/8 slow blues midi pack, all variations and intro fills. Can be fixed in daw by trimming the gap before the first beat.
Toontrack needs to seriously patch that midi.. I fixed it in Superior Drummer by moving it to the correct timing.. For future usage, I saved that as a user midi file..

Been that way since I bought it years ago. That and some of the 12/8 grooves are only 8 bars 😒
I can confirm that the 92bpm 12/8 grooves in EZdrummer blues add-on do not sync with EZbass 12/8 grooves.
I’m trying to build a slow B.B King style 12/8 ballad and it’s very frustrating. Can anyone suggest a workaround or is it best to edit the midi drum file in my DAW (logic).
Will this be addressed in an update?

EZbass version: 1.0.9

Hey, Malinari if you drop the drum MIDI into EZBass it lines up fine – just the actual MIDI from EZ bass that seems to be set to its own clock
And like BlueGenes said earlier if you have Superior Drummer it’s easy to fix – just open up the MIDI Editor and grab all the drum notes and move them one space to the left – after that, they will work just fine.
Just discovered that over 3 years later this is not fixed. I was wondering what was wrong with my ears! Easier fixed by thousands of individual users, sure, but easier fix by Toontrack. Come on guys take 5 mins to fix it.
