Very easy repro
Tested with VST3 and also with VST2 version (by removing the VST3)
Also tested with a new instance in a clean project. Still no output to the SUB Channel.
Double checked all routing is correct and that the outputs are actually turned on in the rack.
Windows 10 Pro (4K). Intel i7. 64GB RAM. RME FF UCX. UAD2 QUAD.
Cubase. Nuendo. Wavelab. Ableton. Vegas. etc.
Actually tested Standalone and seems that Sub is not working there either. Very odd, I cant imagine this slipped through QA, so maybe something has changed here.
nb. Yes I do have Multi Outs selected in Settings.

Hi Phil,
We are trying to reproduce the problem on Standalone and in Cubase 11 on both Mac and PC but it seems to work on all platforms.
It would help us find the culprit in this case if you could attach a screenshot of your current Effects settings and if you could specify which preset and sound library you are using when this is happening. Is there any change in sound when you twist the Sub-Bass knob at all?

Hi and thanks for your quick response. I’ll certainly attach any screen shots etc. that may be useful but at the moment I am finding this with every and any patch.
There is no change in sound at all and the Sub output is clearly not outputting anything.
In standalone I am finding that Use multi-outs keeps deselecting itself once EZB is restarted. I may try a complete uninstall of the plugin.
Attaching a quick screen grab that shows standalone using the default patch.
Routed to outputs 1/2 – 3/4 – 5/6 you can clearly see no gain on 5/6 although Sub level is up full.
I will make a small video inside Cubase shortly.

Hi Phil,
Thank you for the screenshot. Please try a different audio driver/device, perhaps by connecting headphones directly to your PC. Send the Sub-Bass to the right and the rest to the left, does the Sub-Bass still not output anything?

Hi again,
No, as mentioned. The first time I discovered this was in Cubase so device driver is not relevant. Here is a screenshot from within Cubase. I hope that is clear.
Sorry the screenshots are large I work in 4K. At least you can see the detail clearly.
If you need a full video please let me know. Although I will be trying rollback in few minutes as have a track to mix.

Oh dear. I cannot find a way to roll back. Tried downloading the 1.09 installer and removing 1.1 but EZB is still showing 1.1.
I am confirming now that in standalone Use multi-outs keeps deselecting itself once EZB is restarted. I tried running as Admin etc. Just in case. No difference.
I don’t usually use standalone so not sure if this is relevant.
I am now looking to find where the settings are stored.
nb. I think I mentioned before, I do quite a lot of QA testing and tutorials etc. So pretty sure this is not user error. There is something definitely amiss here.
Please update me soon, if you can as I really need to work and all my mixes use the Sub out.

OK more info. Inside Cubase:
Although it always defaults to zero.
The issue seems to be with Modern & Vintage only.

Attaching video link which shows the issue very clearly (too big for here):
nb. I have verified that latest sound installer is done etc.

Hi Phil,
Thank you, we were able to reproduce the problem and we are troubleshooting and discussing this with our programming team. The issue seems to be introduced with the latest Sound Library update, and not only the Software update.
When we have any new information we will make sure to update you here.
To keep Multi-Out Audio and any other settings you have changed when you restart the standalone you can save the current project as your default project (File > Set Current to Default Project).
EDIT:
The bug has been found and will be fixed in a Sound Library update shortly, it will be available in the Product Manager as soon as it is available.

That is great news thank you. Could you suggest any way that I can get it working for my current mix?

Great thanks, yes I sorted this one as I remembered it from previously. As mentioned, I rarely use standalone, it just seemed that it may be connected.
nb. Please do have a look at the video if you can. I would like you to see the kind of testing work I do, as I have applied to test a few times but not had any luck.
Thanks again,
P

Thank you for reporting the problem Phil!
The Sound library update with the fix included is available now in the Product Manager. You will have to delete the update installer if you still have it in your Product Manager Downloads folder and then re-download and install the update again.
First find EZbass in the Product Manager > Show Details > Downloads tab.
Delete the downloaded installer.
Download it again and then use the same drop down menu and click Install.

Thanked by: Phil PendleburyAwesome thanks. No need to remove or delete for me as I always use Clean Up.
Tested and working. Thank you team.
Thanks for quickly stopping me thinking that I may be going mad. 🙂

Thanked by: PetterThanks Phil! I edited the photos with a blur effect as on the current machine, the Core MIDI update was not downloaded and that could create some confusion with the big red Download button.

Thanked by: Phil PendleburyWe wanted to add some information about the Sub-Bass. While troubleshooting, we realised that the volume of the Sub-Bass is too low and that will be fixed in the next EZbass software update.
Currently we do not have any ETA to give for when that update can be released.
