please see: https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/midi-database-a-mess/
Over the years since EZdrummer 1 i bought quite a few upgrades, EZ2, SD2, SD3, midi packs, EZX – and SDX – expansion packs, 3rd party stuff like Groove Monkey etc. Some recent, some on ebay, and also from downloading updates for older bought versions and installing them. All ending up seemingly in a data mess with double entries, often with a different parent folder name but the same content. See pictures.
Tried to clean it up by hand looking at the folder files having only ‘-header’ as content, but i can’t figure out how the Toontrack system pointing to the ‘sub’ folders works. Is there any logic there, or better a separate editor?
Each time i use the internal midi base restoration protocols internally, either from SD3 or EZdrummer 2, i seem to loose all my user data settings. NOT FUNNY as some took quite a bit of time like edits from imported data from other sources like Groove Agent.
Hi All, sorry to ask but how can I buy some Toontrack products for someone else. I have an account too. My friend whom is a Toontrack EZ keys and EZ Drummer 2 user (Like me) and it would be cool to get him a Midi pack or two for black Friday sales- how do I do that? Do you have a vouchers – I would like to try and get it to him before sales end today!?! Or do you have another way to do it!!?
Note he too also has a Toontrack account!
PLEASE HELP

I am only aware of limitations of MIDI Out using the AU version of EZKeys. But MPC software technically not being a DAW, I want to ask, is this feature supported by MPC software? If not, is there are work around similar to what’s suggested in Logic Pro X & AU plugins?
Thanks
Hi,
I have received a sales announcement saying:
END-OF-SALE ANNOUNCEMENT.
Attention all owners of Superior Drummer 2: The Superior Drummer 3 Upgrade will be discontinued on December 31, 2018. Don’t miss taking advantage of the heavily discounted upgrade pricing. Upgrade today!
I hope you are not really serious with this intention. You are forcing me to upgrade now and disable it later – this is unfair! You shall not do that! I have already invested into you, do not say it will not count any more! If I am not ready to upgrade now do not force me! Leave it up to me when I upgrade!
Stefan.
As a keyboardist, I really don’t have much use for EZ Keys (aside from it being an extra piano VST, but I already have several of those, and can’t really justify buying another.) However, there are many times when I’d love to be able to add some guitar strumming into my songs, but I’m totally inept at playing the guitar. I wish Toontrack would make EZ Guitar for people like me. I realize that it’s probably signficantly more difficult to do a convincing MIDI guitar construction set than it is to do a convincing MIDI piano construction set, but there ARE programs like RealGuitar & RealStrat that accomplish it. Those are quite expensive unfortunately. I’d like to see Toontrack make one that’s priced comparably to their other EZ products. And with EZ Guitars, there’d be great possibilities for expansion packs, covering different kinds of guitars, different styles of music, etc. Surely I can’t be only one who’d want this!
